Doraemon baby Quilt

You might remember the DORAEMON fabric from here, I used it to make a baby quilt commisioned by a friend who has just given birth to her second baby. Since the centre panel was already colourful and 'busy,' I decided to use a polka dot fabric in baby blue as the border.

I used the free motion quilting technique for the centre

I made the binding using dark blue Japanese cotton with cute ducks' print

What have you completed recently??

Dura - Thx! but it is actually meant for a girl :D Try free motion quilting on something small first, once you get the hang of it, it's superfast and very easy to do - just wiggly lines all around :D

BoeyJoey - Thanks!!
